This is a High-quality Reproduction of the Model 1806 Baker Rifle. This Gun is intended for reenactors and the barrel is not rifled. They were used during the war of 1812 at The battle of New Orleans. They were used by the British army all through the Napoleonic wars. Our Baker is made by the company that furnished the rifles for the TV series "Sharpes Rifle".and the 2004 production movie "Alamo". Correct gun for a British 1812 Impression.
Our Baker rifle has a case hardened frizzen and a 1/16 inch vent hole and throws lots of good sparks. If You are using the gun for reenactment only, we can furnish a 3/32 inch vent hole at no charge. The lock plate is marked TOWER with the crown and G R.
The 31-inch smoothbore Barrel is stamped with the correct proof marks and has a rear sight and a blade front sight. It has Brass furniture with a rounded patch box. The rifle is fitted to accept the sword-type bayonet (Out of Stock) Overall length 47 inches. Weight 9 pounds. Shipping is $35.00 to the lower 48, Alaska, Hawaii, California Oregon and Washington $55.00. Money back if not satisfied with the buyer paying the return shipping.
