Description:
Early Colt SAA made in 1874, part of the US Army's first order of SAA Colt revolvers. Then later (1890s) modified at US Army Arsenal to 5.5 inch barrels and dubbed Artillary models for further US service. 45 Colt,5 1/2" bbl. SN 2352 on frame. Dark gray patina on barrel, cylinder and grip straps, frame shows 60% case color, good bore with minor pitting, typical Artillary model non matching numbers 2352 frame, 9902 HN on front of trigger guard and 56188 on bottom of grip strap, bottom of barrel and side of cylinder are marked RAC (Rinaldo A Carr military sub inspector), lanyard ring on bottom of grip strap, checkered Rampant Colt grips show light handling. Very good condition. Antique ,can be shipped direct, no FFL needed. Own a piece of US West history.
