Description:
SOLD *** to Levi*** This is a Browning BSS 12ga with 28" barrels that are choked full & modified. The bluing is 99% with no appreciable loss. The bottom tang is slightly frosted. There are some very minor rust spots on the barrels (see pictures), but overall, the gun is in very good condition. There is a small, barely discernable, bump on the bottom of the left tube, but you cannot see anything on the inside. The bores are bright and shiny. The wood has some handling and hunting dings, but they are very minor. It has a Pachmayr recoil pad and the length of pull to the end of it is 14-1/2". The serial number ends in A37 (1973) indicating the third year of production, the first being 1971. The gun is tight upon opening from a lack of use and as a result functions very well. The gun weighs 7 lbs 8 oz.
