Here is a "one of a kind" Savage 99 in 358 Winchester (serial # JW 700) with 22" barrel, having just a mirror high gloss blued receiver and lever boss, beautiful spotless wood on the hand checkered Monte Carlo with cheek piece stock and checkered bottom beavertail forearm, the barrel bluing is just perfect, remaining new and unfired in absolutely mint condition! If you are only looking for very special 99s to add to your collection, well, I don't think you can do any better than this! Look at the pictures and I think you will be amazed. I'm thinking this was made for some important Savage Arms employee or member of management, but with the Cody Museum fiream records only going up to serial # 436558 (1946), for now, until they finish loading the rest of the Savage records into their files, I am unable to obtain a letter. $60 S&H to most of the lower 48. Eight far west states at $70 S&H. Postal money orders preferred for payment, but I will accept checks with 2 or 3 days to clear. No warranty, stated or implied by the seller.
