Description:
General Specs: Heckler & Koch, Year 1981, .223, 11lb 12oz with fixed stock, LOP with fixed stock 13 7/8"
Serial Number: A129260

A cool piece of military and political history, this HK 93 was imported into the USA before the 1986 import ban making this gun one of approximately 20,000 available ever! This example can only be described as 99% factory original, it has been test fired but it's hard to tell. It has a bright mirror bore and is fully equipped with a removable bipod, original Stamag scope mount and bayonet with recoil tube adaptor. The rifle is packaged with both the standard fixed stock and the desirable collapsible version, both easily swapped in a few seconds. Supplied with the rifle is an HK sling, manual and two correct HK93 metal 20 round mags, themselves a rarity. This is overall an incredible kit.

The HK93 was, for the most part, identical in appearance to the HK33 and HK43 both of which are derived from the equally famous G3, the difference being the latter is chambered for the .308/7.62 Nato round.

Heavy by modern standards yet extremely rugged the rifle operates using a roller-locked recoil-driven action, a descendent of that used on the fast cycling MG42 of World War II. The action consists of a pair of roller bearings that cam into recesses in the breech when the bolt is fully forward. On firing, these bearings retard the movement of the bolt long enough to allow chamber pressures to drop to a safe level before camming open and starting the ejection cycle. A fluted chamber aids in positive extraction giving this rifle its sterling reputation.

From the extendable stock at the comfort end and terminating at the business end with a flash suppressor with integrated wire cutting notch, this rifle is notable for its impeccable condition. Add it to the Cold War section of your armory ASAP, it won't be on our gun rack for long, good luck. Outstanding.
