***SOLD*** Extremely Rare Remington Model 4s Rolling Block musket Marked " AMERICAN BOY SCOUT " Made in 1913 only in .22 short. This musket is all original and in excellent condition for its age. Case colors on receiver & bluing are very good, Stock and forearm are excellent, Stock is stamped with the number 942 and the number H1, Measures 42 1/4 inch overall length, 28 1/4 inch barrel, 13 inch LOP, 5lb 4oz weight, Action is tight and bore has very good rifling with no rust or pitting very good, Original Bayonet lug is still in place, There were approximately 1000 rifles made in 1913 with perhaps 200 that survived today in shootable condition. Leather rifle sling is deteriorated but still has a section of the original and original adjustment buckle, Documents and infomation on the history of these rifles also comes with rifle. Originally came with a bayonet one resently sold on ebay for $2000.00 for just the bayonet. A very rare rifle that would be a great addition to any collection. Very high condition.
