On Hold Sale Pending. US Model 1842 Harpers Ferry Musket 69 dated 1850. The full 3 band walnut stock is in fairly good condition showing numerous dents which you would expect from military service along with burnout in front of the and behind the nipple. The full length barrel is dark brown with scattered pitting mainly near the breach, a bayonet lug and appears to have once had a rear sight. The functioning lock is a grey brown color and is marked with the American eagle, Harpers Ferry and 1850. The gun is complete with sling swivels and ramrod.
