This is exceedingly rare Winchester model 70 is chamber in 300 savage. barrel is dated for 1946. 24 inch barrel. please see photos for complete condition. This is not a closet queen and was in fact Hunted with and was purchased from a guide in Alaska. It came factory drilled and tapped on the front and rear bridge. It came through with a Lyman 2 1/2 power Alaskan scope, the guides son requested to keep the scope and mounts when I purchased this rifle. He had a photocopy of the original bill of sale and it came through factory drilled and tapped as was requested, it was an extra three dollars at the time. This is a chance to buy one of the rarest Winchester model 70's.
