Payment Types Accepted: Money Order, Certified Check Description: Sale Pending. This is one of the nicer condition Model 1895 Chilean Contract Rifles we've encountered in the past couple of years. These were made by Ludwig Loewe of Berlin and later by DWM. This one is a Ludwig Loewe in the H block which makes it a pre-1898 antique. All matching numbers including the bolt, rear sight, and cleaning rod. Standard 7mm caliber. Overall condition grades to NRA Antique Excellent with 99% bright original blue and bright nitre blue on the springs, trigger, magazine follower, and screws throughout. One minor pencil erasor sized spot of light corrosion on the bottom of the front barrel band spring. The bolt still has 99% of its bright original polish with no oxidation...and what may still be some original factory grease in the corners. The light European walnut stock is in Fine Condition and has 98% of its original oil finish with some minor dings and marks from improper military storage where it was allowed to come into contact with other rifles. Nice Chilean Crest over "1895" on left side of the stock along with the serial number just below the left side of the action. Bore is Excellent...bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. There aren't many antique rifles on the market that can be found in near pristine condition for this kind of money. These have been good investments and have steadily reason in value. Ten years ago, these were $650 rifles, they'd now doubled in value and I wouldn't be surprised if these reached $2500 rifles in the next 10 years. The quality German manufacture and high condition of these 1895's makes them more and more difficult to find. Antique, Pre-1898. Buyer must be 21 years of age. No FFL required in most states. Please know your state and local laws before contacting us. Sorry, we do not export rifles or handguns overseas. $50.00 shipping. Sale Pending.
