Colt Model 1878 double action revolver with etched barrel panel “Colt Frontier Six Shooter" which was a Colt trade mark for .44-40 caliber. The panel is about 60-70% visible. 7 ½" barrel. Bore has good rifling and light corrosion in the grooves. Action works perfectly. Gun has approximately 35-40% original nickel but the overall appearance is very eye appealing nice etched barrel .44-40.
