Here we present an antique Southeast Asian Enfield Pattern 1853 Type Percussion Rifle-Musket. The British East India Company introduced these weapons to this part of the world. They brought their own British made weaponry. Both India and Nepal copied these arms for their own use.
The action remains strong. The bore is in good condition with good rifling. The stock has been patched here and there and shows much wear and evidence of long term storage. The bayonet is much the worse for wear than the rifle. Later sling.
