It is a take-down design, the barrel and receiver are easily separated with no tools. It is noted as the rifle of choice of famed Texas Ranger Frank Hamer, with his customized .35 Remington Model 8 with a special-order 15-round magazine, used in the ambush of the infamous Bonnie and Clyde in 1934. This one is in great collectable condition, and fires and functions perfectly. Made in 1928. Front and rear sights are correct and original.
