For sale is a Model 44 project of my father's; what you see in the pictures is what you get. I try to limit myself to a single project at a time, so I am passing this on to someone who will enjoy it. Either for a collector that knows what their doing, or someone who wants to learn basic gunsmithing. It is surprisingly fun! Gunsmithing integrates many different skill sets and MidwayUSA has great videos that will show you how to do most anything.
The complete gun looks like an old refinish...maybe? The color casehardening on the action and butt plate has a nice deep color to it. There is a brass front sight and I believe standard tang sight. The parts barrel has a perfect bore, and has scope mounts for a Malcom style scope. The maple stock is fitted to the action and the walnut is oversized and untouched. I will try to answer any questions you might have, but I really don't know much about it. Mostly, I am trying to sell this with as little hassel as possible. I looked on Numrich for prices on the parts and in the BBGV for prices on a 44. Overall I am confident it's a good price.
