Description:
The rifle for sale is overall in good condition. The barrel band and floor plate, as well as the drilled reciever are the only problems; each is pictured. It is missing the olympic sights, but does have the sight mounts. The bore is clean and sharp. It does come with an original 10 round magazine. The Weaver scope has a post reticle. The Model 75 was produced between 1938 and 1958 in target and sporter variations. 88,715 were manufactured, the 17,000 serial number would indicate it is an early run to me. I don't know anything about the history of this example. My dad bought it to keep squirrels off of his bird feeders. With the original sights this does make for an extremely accurate target gun and great trainer.
