SOLD Original Marlin Model 39 made in the mid 30s.
With the HS prefix to the serial #, this was the first of the Marlin lever-action 22s
to be able to withstand the more modern "High Spreed" 22 ammo pressures.
This one is in amazing condition, and shoots and functions perfectly.
Pictures say it all. everything is original and correct, including the cheesy buttplate,
which was correct for the HS upgrades.
Tapered octagon barrel is light with original blueing, and sights.
Bore is bright, and looks perfect.
This is also a take down model.
