A U.S. Civil War Military Issued 5th Model Burnside Carbine In Fine Untouched Condition Only Two Numbers Off A Group Issued To The 2nd Texas Cavalry. The Serial #11,589 is and the gun has all matching numbers and is all original and complete. The carbine has fine metal and markings. It has Fine plus blue on the barrel, top of the block, and lever. The frame has fine case colors throughout showing light thinning in spots. The wood is fine throughout with clear U.S. Inspectors Marks. It has a fine bore & action. This Is A Very Fine Looking U.S. Civil War Burnside Carbine That Is Right In The Middle Of A Group Sent To The 2nd Texas Cavalry!
