This is a Very Early and Rare Powder Flask for a Colt Model 1839 Patterson Revolving Carbine in Nice Untouched Condition. The Flask is all original and complete. The rare flask has a fine body with tight seams all around. It is marked "PATENT" on the top brass rim. There is a small dent and a few tiny dings in it as shown in the photos. The entire flask has a wonderful natural patina on it. The original plunger top is fine throughout with a wonderful color to it. The flask measures 8 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches at the widest point. This Is A Nice Untouched Example Of A Very Rare & Desirable Colt Model 1839 Patterson Revolving Carbine Powder Flask. There Are Very Few Of These Patterson Flasks In Existence!
