This is a beautiful Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless. This piece is dated to the year 1907, therefore, making it a Type 1. The type one 1903 Pocket Hammerless came in the 4-inch barrel instead of the 3 3/4-inch barrel that the Type II-IV had, Type 1 also comes with barrel bushing and no magazine safety. The Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless Type 1 was only produced from 1903 to 1911. This is definitely a neat piece with a bit of history. It has a beautiful patina and the action is smooth as can be.
