Description:
28 inch octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Bore is near bright with just a little light pitting and decent rifling. About 60% original nickel finish shows freckling and some small areas of light pitting. Receiver has been lightly cleaned showing a mottled nickel appearance with traces of nickle in the protected areas. Sights include a Beech combination front, flat top sporting rear and a Lyman folding tang mount peep. Deluxe checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forearm retain about 70% original finish showing use with light wear and handling marks. This one was made in 1895.
