Point pattern checkering that wraps the forend and is up and over on the grip. Engraved crossbolt and grip cap screw. Oval stock shield monogramed "DHP"  13 3/4" LOP to a Silver's pad.  10lb 11oz as scoped.
The .416 Rigby was developed in 1911 with Rigby selling their first in 1912. They made less than 200 before World War II.  I don't know how many .416's were made pre-war by Griffin & Howe but certainly only a handful. A late 1930's gun which was G&H's best gunmaking era. This is an outstanding gun to either collect or use. It remains in excellent condition.
