Description:
The Winchester model of 1917 is one of three manufacturers that produced the 1917. Winchester producing the fewest amount. This was the America's version of the Enfield rifle only it was chambered to 30 cal or 30-06 SPRG. Because the caliber is not marked on these old rifles we recommend doing a chamber cast. This rifle was produced for the efforts of WWI to supply the troops. This is a heavy 10.5 lb rifle with 26" barrel. This rifle was known for being very accurate out to 600 yards or more and very reliable especially in arctic weather. None

Metal Condition: "Very Good, there is a small patch of pitting on rear sight housing and some on the front barrel band.
Wood Condition: Very Good. There are some dings and dents and a small chip missing. Looks like it may have been carved out.
