Description:
Rare "Flat Top" Woodsman 3rd Series Sport Model .22 LR. The Flat Top configuration spanned late 2nd Series and early 3rd Series production, beginning around mid-1953 and running through 1955. The brown injection molded (not Coltwood) grips are a carryover feature of late 2nd Series guns. The return to a bottom magazine release, however, is attributed to the 3rd Series. Manufactured in 1955, the first production year of the 3rd Series. .22 Long Rifle
