Description:
Guns Listing ID: 483656

Rare scarce Japanese ww2 army officer carried this firearm.

Scarce DWM Model 1922 Semi-Automatic Pistol
Manufacturer: DWM
Model: 1922
Type: Pistol
Gauge: 7.65 mm auto
Barrel: 3 1/2 inch round
Finish: blue
Grip: walnut
Serial Number: 83
Class: Curio & Relic Handgun
Description:
Although the serial numbers on these run to 40,000 they are seldom seen in this country. It is an almost exact copy of the Browning Model 1910 including the takedown ring around the barrel that locks into the slide, the trigger with the raised face and the grip safety. The walnut grips conform to the shape of the frame and are slightly wider at the bottom than they are at the top. The only marking on the pistol other than the serial numbers is the DWM monogram on the left side of the slide. This is the same trademark that was used in the toggle link on Lugers, thus making this pistol highly collectable.
