Description:
This P 38 was manufactured in the Walther factory after the start of WWII it is an all numbers matching even the magazine has remained paired with this pistol since it was manufactured in 1941. This 2nd variation from the walther factory
had a high gloss Blue and much smoother machining than the later p38's manufactured at the same factory. This pistol has no import marks on it indicating it was probably a war trophy for a returning GI. It has a very nice bore and functions as it should. The slide runs very smooth. It shows typical holster wear for the age. The grips are fully intact and have no chips or cracks. It is marked in multiple locations with the Eagle above a 359 indicating it was manufactured in the Walther factory after WWII started.
