Description:
28 inch full octagon barrel chambered in 38 WCF caliber with a full length magazine tube. The gun is sighted with an "1873" marked ladder rear sight and German silver blade front sight. Excellent bore with sharp rifling. Bright and shiny. Original wood has a rifle style butt plate and is in very nice condition with the usual dings and mars maybe more so on one side of the forearm than the other. Must have been bounced around on a wagon or something. Overall metal is very nice with 30%-40 barrel blue and mag blue turning brown. Receiver has about 10-15% original blue turning a plum coloration. Mechanical condition is excellent with original dust cover.
