Description:
Sako L61R Finnbear in 264 Win Mag. Professionally restocked and glass-bedded with hand-checkered fancy English walnut; ebony schnabel forend, checkered steel grip cap and 3/4" Pachmayr recoil pad. Rebarreled with 27" match-grade stainless steel, 1:8 twist, by Pac-Nor of Oregon; Pac-Nor muzzle brake and muzzle thread-protector included. Pac-Nor matched and extended the original Finnbear barrel profile which is generous but not too heavy to carry hunting. NEAR scope rail, custom made in Canada for the L61R; best you can get for Sako rifles. Barrel new, test-fired only and rest of gun like-new. 264 Win Mag is same family as 7mm Rem Mag and 338 Win Mag so brass is readily available. 264 is also equivalent to 6.5mm and can use the new heavier super-hi BC 6.5mm bullets for some interesting reloading opportunities for accurate long-range shooting. Sako steel can't be beat and the L61R long action is super-smooth. A nice gun for someone who appreciates modern ballistics coupled with traditional style. FFL required, $50 shipping.
