Quality Reproduction J.H. Dance & Brothers Percussion Revolver
serial #328, .44 cal., 8” part octagon part round barrel with excellent bore. This Italian-made revolver has been reconfigured to resemble the smaller Dance revolver briefly produced during the Civil War, with all Italian markings removed. The metal surfaces are a mottled mix of brown, gray with a few wedges of original blue. The brass grip frame has been cleaned to goldenrod with a few areas of very light tarnish. The one-piece factory walnut grips rate about excellent. The barrel, cylinder, and grip frame are numbered to the gun, and it functions mechanically with correct timing and lockup. Dance & Brothers were scarce revolvers produced during the Civil War for the south. This is a nice facsimile of that revolver with a nicely applied aged finish. Original examples run $30,000 and up, own this quality reproduction for a fraction of the price. No FFL required and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps. Please feel free to ask questions.
