Description:
Have a 1897 Winchester in 16 gauge. Bought this off a cowboy action shooter years ago on the SASS forum. He mostly used 12 gauge and didn't need this. The barrel has been shortened to around 20 inches. Has Briley Choke Tubes. So this has more use than just a riot gun etc... Has a Full Choke Tube a MOD Choke Tube and a IMP CYL tube. This has been opened up to fire 2 3/4 shells it's not marked but it has the chamber lengthened. Gun dates to 1915 and the serial numbers match. Overall in nice condition and shoots and operates nicely!!!! Look at pics for condition etc... Any questions please ask. Yes the gun had work done to it by a professional gunsmith! A lot of money was spent on this. The Briley Choke Tubes are not cheap!!!!
