Early Lyman Fixed Alaskan 2.5X with Crosshair Reticle
This scope dates c.1940
Over 8 decades in the box with little shelf wear and no indications of ever being used or mounted
View is very clear with lightly yellowed presentation, that may be typical of the factory coating - We have never looked through a scope this old and seen such a beautiful view
Crosshairs are crisp
No apparent issues on the lenses' exterior surface and no interior specks or cloudiness observed
If you are restoring or furnishing museum quality guns then you need museum quality accessories!
This is a hard to find Fixed Alaskan that would mount nicely in a Leupold Adjusto or Griffin and Howe mount (7/8" rings of course).
Box rates 95-97% is tight fitting and everything intact
