Slotter Heavy barrel double key .46 cal. Plains Rifle. 31 inch octagon barrel in brown patina. Barrel marked "SLOTTER AND CO./MADE FOR A.J. PLATE/SAN FRAN. Plate was a well known gun dealer that provided rifles for the use in the American West. Double set triggers-Engraved lock and hammer. A very clean gun, no cracks, no abuse. Over all weight ca. 12 lbs. A beautiful gun.
