WWII U.S. military rifle made by Winchester in 1942, and circa 1960's converted to 7.62 NATO for the U.S. Navy. They converted the caliber by reaming the original barrel and placing a 7.62 barrel inside along with an adapter and then fire higher pressured 7.62 rounds to expand the barrel and lock it into place. The bore is excellent and bright. The stock is in very good condition with some ""combat wear"". There is a small crack forward the receiver on the upper handguard. Overall very good condition.
