WINCHESTER MODEL 61 slide action rifle made in 1945 with matching 5-digit serial numbers 62895 in .22 caliber short, long and long rifle, 24" round barrel with bright glossy bore under fact original adjustable sights. This is a model 61 Winchester rifle with WRF stamp on front of smooth top receiver and WRF stamp on top of barrel near receiver and black hard polymer butt plate. The pistol grip walnut stock is gorgeous with long grooved forehand/slide. The bluing is excellent with small scratches on glossy receiver. Apparently, this rifle has had a scope mounted on it at some point in its 77 year life. Overall condition: 99%; LOP is 13 1/2"; OVERALL length: 47". This is a real gem anyone would be proud to own!
