Winchester Model 71 .348 Win.
24" barrel.
Short tang.
With Lyman receiver sight. Barrel sight has been replaced with a dovetail spacer front sight has hood.
3 extra holes have been drilled for a side mount scope.
Metal has lots of original blue left with much wear and some freckling.
Buttstock has a chunk missing at the right side of the tang, but it appears to be solid with many nicks and scratches.
Forearm has 1 large gouge and 2 smaller gouges on the left side. forearm also appears to be solid.
Bore is bright with good rifling.
Overall the rifle is in good shooter grade condition, the action is tight and functions properly.
