"Pettengill Army Revolver. .44 Caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. This gun was made in the 1860’s. Nice sharp gun overall with trace amounts of blue on the barrel flats, but overall a light brownish gray patina on metal. This is a military inspected gun. No signs of a cartouche are on the grips. Butt of this gun shows a repair and no serial numbers can be seen!
