April 25: ON HOLD for Texas.
Original, untouched, tight as a drum, crisp and clean. Bores mint. Fired a few times if at all. Barrels retain 97% original twist finish, casehardening on receiver 90% with only appreciable and negligible loss on underside of receiver. Wood excellent with no cracks or damage other than some negligible scuffs or rubs here and there. Original gutta percha butt plate, screws are all clean and un-buggered. LOP from front trigger is about 14 1/2", untouched barrels measure 28 7/8" overall. Using my spring loaded choke bore gauge, both barrels are the same choke and fall on the line of Full and Improved Modified. Barrel lugs stamped 40 and 50. Numbers "2" "24" and "84" on table, other various stampings. Each barrel stamped "2". Serial number is 60,xxx (I blurred the last few digits in the pictures). Probably made prior to 1898 however I will only ship to a C&R or FFL holder unless positive documentation providing for pre 1898 manufacture can be provided. I doubt you will find a much better one! In the same collection for over 50 years. Heavy. Add $95. P&H in the lower 48 states. I have been successfully selling mail order now for over 40 years. More pictures available upon request.
