Colt Ace Model semi-auto pistol in .22LR. 1911 single-action-only design. SN 6152, looks like 1936 production when running through Colt's online look-up. Adjustable rear sight. Wood grips are likely replacements but the screws seem to match the gun. Comes with 1 10-rd two-tone colt 22lr mag. Solid barrel, this was built before the "floating chamber". Slide does not lock back on an empty mag but the slide release can be pushed up to lock.
This wonderful piece of Colt history is in good overall shape and very good internally. It shows years of good honest wear through out but function is excellent. Bore is shiny. This would be an excellent restoration candidate or just an honest shooter proudly displaying its history.
