Description:
Serial #GV204055, .45 ACP, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. The photos do not do this gun justice. The blue is so bright it is difficult to get a good photo. This is a beautifully embellished pistol that has a high gloss blued finish; gold and silver floral scroll inlay along the sides and top of the slide; gold plated barrel bushing, slide lever, magazine release, safety, and hammer. The tropical hardwood double-diamond grips are in excellent, practically unused condition, and have gold plated gripscrews, a wide knurled pattern, and central gold Rampant Colt inlays. The pistol is housed in the original blue Colt plastic case with "LEW HORTON / EXCLUSIVE" label, one magazine, original papers, packet of gun grease, and plastic chamber plug. This is a splendid, high grade Colt Government Model, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL
