US CARBINE 30 CAL M1 - Marked on front of receiver, Rear of Receiver marked - UNDERWOOD & Serial Number. See pictures, tried to get markings in but hard to do. Front Top of Barrel marked - UNDERWOOD with FLAMING BOMB. No Import Marks! Original cotton sling with Oiler & 2, original, 30 round Belt Magazine Pouches and one Bandolier of 120 rounds of original issue ammo loaded on stripper clips. (ammo must be shipped seperately to your residence. Ammo can't be shipped with a firearm. Reproduction Bayonet & Scabbard. Has the flat bolt and Bayonet Lug.1 Original 10 round Magazine with rubber cover and 1 30 round Magazine, not original. I have had this Carbine for at least 25 years and never fired it or dissasembled it, except for taking the stock off once, and I don't intend to. May be all original parts but don't know. The Stock has a SA stamped inside and matches the Forend. I believe for Springfield Armory and were made and shipped to Underwood during this period. Unerwood manufactured Carbines are very rare as only about 100,000 were made during the War effort. If you are looking to add a Beaury to your collection this is it.
