Description:
45 caliber 2-7/8. Marked "Old Reliable Bridgeport Connecticut". Features a 30 inch octagon barrel that measures 1-3/8 across the muzzle end. Weighs 16-1/2 pounds. Fine bore. Original front sight and a buckhorn type rear sight. Barrel is mostly a plum/brown color. Sharp corners. Double set triggers. Frame is a gunmetal grey color. Nice mechanical condition. Wood is very good with just some light handling mars. Rifle style buttplate. No doubt this was made for shooting buffalo.
