Description:
Webley & Scott 28 gauge double-barrel sporting shotgun. S/N 137***. Anson Deeley style Boxlock action with extensive engraving. Checkered pistol grip stock (1 1/8 drop comb) and (2 1/8 drop heel), checkered beavertail forend with an Anson style front release. 26" barrels with ejectors and solid, matted, tapered rib. Bores are excellent. Double triggers, automatic safety. 2 3/4" chambers. .550 bores measure about .17 on the left side barrel and .30 on the right side barrel at muzzle. As near as I can tell it appears to be choked, Light Modified and Full, with brass gauge. Vivid case colors remain on the receiver and accents. There is a RH cast off of about 3/8". Made in Birmingham, England. Manufactured Circa 1966-67. 28 Gauge
