A Rare Civil War Factory Cased And Factory Made With A Shorter Barrel Moore Teat Fire Revolver In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial # 6,208, all matching numbers. All original and complete. The rare revolver was factory made with a 1/2 inch shorter barrel with a factory made case just for it. The revolver was made without a sight and the high spots of the factory grips were shaved down to be flat. I believe that this gun was made to be carried in a pocket and all these special features were ordered so the gun would not get caught up when carried. The revolver has fine plus metal and markings, and engraving on the frame & barrel. The metal on the gun retains most of its original factory silver finish on it. The right side shows some loss at the end of the cylinder area as shown. All screws are fine. The grips are nice throughout and retain lots of their original factory varnish. It has a tight action and fine bore. The original factory custom case is excellent throughout and was made for this gun only. It still has some original teat-fire cartridges and small punch out tool inside it. The entire outside of the box has a very fine burl to it as shown. This Is A Very Rare & Fine Example Of What Could Be A One Of A Kind Custom All Factory Made Cased Moore Teat Fire Civil War Revolver!
