Description:
This gun is in fantastic condition with virtually all of the old arsenal refinish. Original grips show very little use with a visible cartouche. Mechanics are good. 131k serial range. Barrel address is somewhat lighter than usual due to the refinish polishing. Complete with a Factory Letter and some other informational documents. Gun is in fine condition with matching numbers including inspector marks. "RAC" on the frame. Original grips have a cartouche and dated 1890. Gun comes with a Factory Letter showing it was ordered by the US Government and shipped April 11, 1890. Also at the bottom are remarks about the barrel length not listed as well as the stocks not listed. This is usually an indication of 7-1/2 inch barrel and walnut stocks as these were considered standard issue at the time. It also states it was returned to the factory for a refinish and again returned to the US Government Inspector on November 16, 1895. This is a very scarce gun. This gun appears original inside and out except for 3 side screws.
