The pump gun. Who doesn't love them? Sure, there are lots of 870's out there, then Model 12's and their design cousin's the 500's.....but how many of you understand the Ithaca 37? We talk about famous gun designer Mr. John Moses Browning a lot....and then we talk about him some more. He designed a SUPER famous pump shotgun that could be fired either right or left handed in the Remington Model 17 utilizing a single port at the bottom of the receiver to both load and eject. This design was adopted by Browning for the BPS and Ithaca as well for the Model 37, which you see before you. This design was so solid and popular, it was even deployed by the US Military in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. The Ithaca 37 has the distinct privilege of claiming the longest production run for any pump action shotgun....EVER...and they are still made today. This particular unit is set up PERFECTLY in excellent, original condition, 28" barrel, Featherlight and a fixed Modified Choke. She's ready for the field!! Are you?
