A Very Early & Desirable Bullet Or Stone Crossbow With Finely Carved Stock In Nice Untouched Condition. All original and complete. It is Saxon and is circa mid 1500's to early 1600's. It has an iron bow, folding sight & hardware. The string is in fine condition with no damage to it. The stock is fully carved throughout with a wonderful flutted end. The crossbow fully operates nicely and has its original internal lever spring inside. It measures 40 inches in length and the iron bow is 29 inched wide. This Is A Very Fine And Untouched Early Saxon 1500's to 1600's Crossbow With A Wonderful Look To It. These Early Crossbows Rarely Turn Up And Are Like a Piece Of Art. It Is Fresh Out Of A Castle Shaped Estate In A Secluded Area Of Long Island, New York Near Where I Live!
