Very Fine Original Chief Grade Native American Indian Trade Rifle manufactured by Ketland with serpentine pattern side plate. The prominent chief's head Medallion at the top of the butt stock is t;ypical of this type and quality of weapon. Lock is Marked Ketland & Co with the Boar in a circle towards the rear. Back Side Plate is a Sepentine Pattern. Some Pitting concentrated around the pan. Very Fine Original Chief Grade Indian Trade Gun
