This is the second cannon in a series I will be selling from the Master Cannon Maker John Bradbury .I gave him that title after reviewing what is for sale on today's market. Mr. Bradbury lived and breathed to make cannons . He was a perfectionist beyond comparison in today's market . This is a 1/4 scale replica ...the barrel and other cylindrical parts turned on a 1937 Atlas metal lathe. The wood is white pine ..this cannon was made in 1975.The bore is 2 1/4" with the barrel length of 8 1/2". The frame is 61/2" wide and 17 1/2" long . The Munitions box ,Henares, is 9 7/8" x 11 1/2" x 3 3/4 ". The total weight is 42 pounds with the cannon weighing 34 lbs. It comes with Bradley's firing instructions and maintenance of the cannon. You will not see another one of these. He was a Marine WWII Veteran and is now guarding the gates of Heaven. I am a Marine Vietnam Veteran . That's how we became friends. I have had his original 13 cannons since 1997 and they were all made in 1975 and 1976. Thank you for looking.
