This Winchester M-70 Pre 64 .270 WCF mfg 1947 has all original non-molested history. The Butt stock is a very nice
medium walnut w/no cracks or gouges. Ther are some very faint handing marks at the rear sling swivel & bottom of
the forearm. The overal wood is abt 85-90% and the bluing is abt 95-98 %. The action is excellent and tight. The
barrel is 24 inches w/a shiney bore w/a distinct twist & a Sporting Slide Notch Rear Sight. Theis very nice M-70 came from the estate of a reknowned M-70 Collector. The estate had over 50 Model Seventies.
The bolt shows minimal usage. For a 75 year old firearm it has had excellent care and maintaince.
This to me is an NRA Very Good to Excellent example of an all original & colectible firearm.
