I have my Browing Sweet Sixteen for sale with a Browing Arm Company St Louis MO barrel address.Their is some pitting on the barrel, mostly on the top side portion between the end of the forend and the front of the receiver. Please see the pictures of this area. It looks worse in the pictures than in person. The matt ribbed 28” barrel is choked Modified with two stars. Also, the barrel has been re-blued. The LOP is 14 ¼”. The forend has the usual crack in it, please see pictures. That’s the bad news, so here is the good. The original rust bluing on the receiver is very nice, slightly faded with only a hint of speckling in one area on it. The screws are unturned and all in perfect condition. The finish on the stock is nice with no major dings and no cracks at all. It does have some minor impressions and light scratches from use. With a proper rust blue job done on barrel this gun would be very nice, or leave it alone and shoot it as it is. It is not a collector grade gun, but is not priced as such. It would be a great way to get a Belgium Sweet Sixteen at a reasonable price as these guns are sky rocketing in price these days. I have tried to describe it as honestly as I can as I want the buyer to be happy with their purchase.
