Rebuilt Relic .45 Colt
Here we present an antique Colt Black Powder Frame Single Action Army Revolver, manufactured in 1883 in Hartford, Connecticut. The Colt “Peacemaker” was introduced in 1873 and has become one of the most iconic firearms in all of history, thanks to its widespread use by the U.S. military, civilians and, more recently, in Western films.
This one was found and some level of restoration was done. The barrel, cylinder, and frame are from the original gun, while the grip frame, back strap, hammer, and ejector rod are replacements. The hammer cocks and revolves the cylinder and the trigger will drop the hammer; however, the cylinder does not lockup. Blocky, homemade grip. The bore is about like you’d expect: dark and worn.
