This is an 1898 springfield action that was custom barreled with a Douglas barrel and custom stock. *Note the front site was installed but there is no holes for a rear sight, peep site or scope* I think this is an excellent candidate for either a peep sight or to be drilled and tapped on the barrel for a scout scope. The caliber is 30-40 Krag. *Buyer pays shipping and handling*
